Wanna earn money?

Do you wanna get paid for testing products? They're mostly digital and they happen over Skype. You have to share your screen.

Testing Time is great for that. My recent test lasted less than 30 minutes long over Skype and I got paid 20 euros for my trouble.

Paris, France - Scam Apartment Listing 01

As I was apartment hunting, I stumbled upon a reasonably priced listing, so I went ahead and emailed the person for details.

This was the listing posted on the Facebook group Housing in Paris:

Room offer in Paris 6th arr.You can apply for CAF/APL.Room furnished and equipped.The Rent is 600 euro.If you are interested write me a message.Thanks.

So, I sent the message to the poster who was called Yo Ang Liu (profile)

and he replied with :

Thanks for writing.You can write directly to the landlord on this email. (gotzalala@gmail.com) . Include my name in the email for prompt response.His name is Simon

Okay, so he's making me work for it. 

I emailed Simon (gotzalala@gmail.com) ... To be fair, he was really prompt. No less than 2 minutes after I sent my inquiry email did he reply.

Reddit Secret Santa

This year, I participated in Reddit Secret Santa.

For those of you who don't know, Reddit constantly has gift exchange activities going on and for the month of December, they do Secret Santa.

Reddit Gifts is an online gift exchange that connects internet strangers-friends.

The rules are simple. You sign up on Reddit, fill out a short profile of your likes and dislikes and other relevant information, and you wait until you get your match.

Once you are assigned a match, you have a deadline on which you are expected to shift your gift. The minimum spend is at least $20.00 for a gift excluding shipping.

So anyway, I got matched with someone who lives all the way in Canada, and I thought it would be cool to send him a subscription box full of goodies that he's interested in.

Once you have sent out your gift, you are required to post proof on the site. Proof such as tracking number and receipts. Though these are merely for statistics purposes.

My Secret Santa sent me a lovely gift.
